Recientemente, he vuelto a ella para cantarla en clase con los niños del primero de ESO bilingüe, aprovechando que la lectora inglesa que colabora con nosotros en el instituto canta muy bien en este estilo. Un poco a esta manera:
Aunque para los alumnos es un un poco difícil de entonar en su segunda mitad, creo que merece la pena. Además, se presta a acompañamientos sencillos; y también nos sirve para aprender vocabulario; cambiando, por ejemplo, las frutas y el tipo de semilla (seed) que esconden dentro. Hay frutas con corazón (core), como la manzana o la pera, con pepitas (pips) como el melón, con hueso (stone) como el melocotón, etc.
Y luego están los simbolismos... En fin, que es una canción buena para la clase. Con según qué frutas el humor, que engrasa tan bien el aprendizaje, está asegurado.
